Val& Ivo

Val and Ivo are the kind of people you don’t just photograph — you feel them. Curious, emotional, real. And the Old Town of Plovdiv seemed made for their charm and romance; its spirit fit theirs perfectly. The day was calm and drifted along like a song: everything simply fell into place, and we were swept away by art.

The ceremony took place in the middle of one of the Old Town’s little streets — on a small square, slightly to the side, in full view of every passer-by. No walls, no curtains; just Val, Ivo and the living, breathing city around them. There is something brave and beautiful about exchanging vows right where life flows.

For the photo session we stepped into one of Plovdiv’s unique old houses. It won us over completely — with its history, its sentiment, the authenticity in every detail. Here every frame came on its own.

And the celebration was held on a charming terrace looking straight into the heart of the city — as if set apart from time and space. Exactly the place for a day like this to be in no hurry to end.
